The OPP is reminding you to be aware of an increase in ATV’s, UTV’s and Side by Sides this fall in Kapuskasing.
The James Bay Detachment is reminding the community of the growth in riders on both trails and roadways.
Police say all drivers of any ATV, UTV or Side by Side must have at least a G2 or M2 driver’s license with a registered and insured vehicle.
Officers are also reminding riders that helmets and seat belts, if possible, must be worn at all times.

Police also say speed limits must be obeyed by riders and drinking and driving carries the same penalties as operating a car.
The OPP is reminding everyone to have a safe and enjoyable fall riding season.
