Once again Kapuskasing will have the chance to run, walk or bike in memory of a man who gave everything for others.
Community Organizer Susan Renaud says the Terry Fox annual run is a chance for the community to come together and raise funds to help in the fight against cancer.
Renaud says keeping the annual run ongoing is important in order for future generations to better understand the sacrifices of those before them.
She says once again Stella Arezza has been a fundraising machine, earning over $3,000 for the foundation this year alone.
Renaud says last year alone the run collected over $5,000 reaching a grand total of $208,000 collected since the run first began.
The annual Terry Fox Run takes place this Sunday, September 17th beginning at 10:30am at the Kapuskasing Golf Club.
