Those in Kapuskasing looking for a healthy change in lifestyle are being offered the opportunity to make it happen.

That is according to Porcupine Health Unit Public Health Nurse Joelle Zorzetto, who says a new free program titled HealthStyles offers participants with prediabetes a chance to make lasting changes that can prevent type two diabetes.

Zorzetto says the program will focus on changing the overall behaviours of a participant.

She says investing in your health takes planning; something the HealthStyles program will help participants become better at.

Zorzetto says the program will be offered in Timmins in English and in Kapuskasing in French.

The HealthStyles Program begins September 27th in Kapuskasing and to find out more about if you are eligible for the program you can contact Emilie Leblond at 705-267-1181 ext. 2350 or email:
