The turn of September and start of the school year also signifies the beginning of bowling season in Kapuskasing.
North Side Lanes will be host to another season of the Kapuskasing Bowling League which will be holding a meeting of interested players and teams for the upcoming season tonight at the bowling alley.
The meeting is a chance to learn more about the structure of the league and to also enjoy free food and drinks.
A ladies’ league will take place every Wednesday at 7:00pm, the men’s league on Tuesdays at 7:00pm and the mixed league on Sundays at both 5:00pm and 8:00pm.
The league will begin play on a weekly basis at North Side Lanes, the meeting at the bowling alley tonight begins at 7:00pm.
