Second Influx Of Evacuees From Nibinamick Arrive In Kapuskasing

Kapuskasing has had another small ingestion of evacuees from the Nibinamick First Nation.

Kapuskasing CAO Guylain Baril has alerted Moose news that as of Wednesday morning another 35 evacuees arrived into town pushing the total number of evacuees being housed to 304 at this time.

Baril says this is currently being viewed as the last expected influx of evacuees into the area due to the incident.

He says the town is not likely to take in any more evacuees.

Baril says albeit things can change in a blink of an eye, he expects that the Nibinamick First Nation residents could be returning to their homes by as early as next week.
