District School Board Ontario North East is welcoming its new Director of Education.

Yesterday was Lesleigh Dye’s first day on the job and she says she is excited to be in the northeastern region.

Dye says there are a few things that she wants to accomplish within her first year.

She says within her first year with DSB One, she hopes to get to know the region, work very closely with the Board of Trustees and work on the districts literacy and math programs.

Dye comes to DSB One after serving as a Superintendent in the Rainbow Board near Sudbury for the last 11 years.
