There is one man in hospital with serious injuries following a severe crash just outside of Hearst.
Police were alerted of a car crash on Highway 11 around 8:00am on Sunday, July 23rd that took place just west of Hearst.
Officers arrived on scene and found a male driver that needed to be extracted from his vehicle, before being air lifted to a nearby hospital.
Investigators then closed down all lanes on Highway 11 for several hours while investigating both a fuel spillage and the cause of the collision.
At this time one lane on the highway has been re-opened, and the cause of the collision is still unknown.
