Police have arrested a Cochrane man on charges of drug trafficking.

At 11:00am on July 18th officers were overseeing a traffic stop on Highway 11 in Cochrane when they noticed the vehicle was uninsured and also not registered.

Officers upon further investigation seized crystal meth, MDMA and marijuana with an estimated value of just over $2,700 from the vehicle.

Police then arrested the 32-year-old Cochrane man on 9 different charges, 3 of which were for possession and 2 charges of drug trafficking.

The accused has since been released and is set to appear in court on July 19th.
