A Trustee with District School Board Ontario North East has resigned.
The representative for Hearst and Kapuskasing Wayne Major has resigned after servicing seven years of his eight-year term.
Major says he has decided to move closer to family, which means leaving the territory served by the board.
During the summer, the board will search for someone within the Kapuskasing and Hearst area to fill the rest of the term.
