Hearst Resident Achieves National Level Success

A Hearst native has achieved national level success in automation and control.

Maxime Marineau of Hearst is a Cambrian College Electrical Engineering Technology graduate who earned a silver medal June 3rd at the Skills Canada National Competition for Automation and Control in Winnipeg.

For Marineau it was only his second ever competition, having earned gold back in May at the Skills Ontario Competition.

Marineau says he enjoys the competitions because they improve and sharpen your skills within your own trade.

Cambrian President Bill Best says they are extremely proud of Maxime and his efforts representing both the college and the province.

Marineau also says earning these medals encourages him to further his learning and continue to improve his skills going forward.
