For a third straight year, Biker’s Helping Hand did more than just put on a show.

Organizer Sylvie Dalton says for the third consecutive year they were able to exceed expectations on both the turnout for their event, as well as the funds raised.

Dalton says they collected just over $23,000 from the event, $10,000 more than last year, and they are now going to distribute that across five different individuals or causes.

She says the five recipients will be gathered along with members who helped organize the third consecutive Bikers Helping Hand Fundraiser within the next couple of weeks.

Dalton says they want to gather them for a photo op in order to make it that much more a special moment for those receiving a donation.

She says they look forward to continuing to raise their goals for next year’s event.
