Kapuskasing’s Festival De La St. Jean got a little more praise in Ottawa this week.
Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing MP Carol Hughes extended an invite to the House of Commons and its members to come experience the summer up north with festivals such as St. Jean.
Hughes says the summer is a busy time in Northern Ontario, and within her riding there are many celebrations including the festival of St. Jean Baptist.
She also went on to explain and feature some other events happening throughout her ridings this summer.
