Starting this week you have the opportunity to help raise funds for your local hospital.
Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing will be celebrating its 50th consecutive year of Hey Day in 2017.
Chair of Hey Day Aline Carrier says you can donate any household items to their Hey Day garages located behind Sensenbrenner Hospital.
She says through the first 50 years, Hey Day has raised nearly a million dollars for Sensenbrenner.
Carrier says every Monday and Tuesday from 9:00am to 4:00pm from now until the beginning of September they will be collecting donations for their Hey Day yard sale.
Carrier says the official yard sale will take place over three days; September 13th just for volunteers with Sensenbrenner, and then September 14th and 15th for the public.
