Fundraising and educating the Kapuskasing community on Polio was a success.
That is according to District Polio Plus Chair Liz McInnis who along with the Rotary Club of Kapuskasing was outside of Sears Saturday afternoon to help raise funds and awareness for the issue.
McInnis says the Polio Plus Foundation and the Rotary Club of Kapuskasing play a major role in trying to help eliminate Polio.
She says that the day was a success for educating the community as a whole.
McInnis says those interested in further helping through donations to Polio Plus can do so through the food bank or online.
