Ontario’s Fair Hydro Plan is going to help create savings for Kapuskasing residents and local business.

That is according to Ontario Minister of Energy Glenn Thibeault, who says the new hydro plan is going to work great for Northern Ontario Wires and Hydro One customers as well.

He says the 25% savings could also be a lot higher for some residents depending on their usage.

Thibeault says the range in savings is because places like Kapuskasing have residents paying a higher share of costs, so they deserved higher savings from this plan.
