Kapuskasing will be hosting its first Pow Wow in 13 years this Saturday.
That is according to Organizer Marcia Chum, who says the idea for the Pow Wow was started up by a local student.
Chum says she is extremely proud of the youth in the community for following through with their idea.
She says the Pow Wow is a terrific social gathering for all cultures, to show respect and understanding.
The Pow Wow takes place at the Kapuskasing Curling Club from 12:00pm to 9:00pm Saturday, May 27 th and from 12:00pm to 5:00pm Sunday, May 28th.
