There are a few changes planned for the Hearst Forest this year.
That is according to the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, who along with Hearst Forest Management have made public their draft contingency plan for the forest.
The MNRF are proposing a change to the forest outline amongst a few smaller changes to the tree line.
They are inviting the public to review and comment on the proposed contingency plan during an information session.
The info session will take place at the Hearst Heritage Saw Mill from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on June 14th.
