A mother and her two boys are safe after a house fire in Moonbeam.
The fire took place at a home on St. Josephs Road at 11:00am Thursday when the family was not home.
Moonbeam Chief of Fire Services Denis Plourde says they received a call about an ATV on fire outside of a house shortly after 11:00am.
Plourde says they figure the fire spread from the parked ATV into the house, and by the time the fire department arrived it was engulfed in flames.
He says they were able to put out the fire within the hour, but were unable to save the property.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
