The National Day of Mourning is to remember lives lost due to work related injuries.
Dan Browne of Kapuskasing’s District Labour Council says it’s a chance to revisit current labour health and safety regulations as well.
Browne says the gathering Friday, April 28th at Riverside Park is to educate the community on their labour rights.
Browne says part of the focus is on improving health and safety of current workers.
