Cochrane, Kapuskasing and Hearst have come together in a letter to the Minister of Social Services regarding the DSSAB formula.
The change to the cost-sharing formula for the DSSAB was proposed back in mid-March between the districts of Cochrane and the city of Timmins.
However, the three municipalities within the Cochrane District do not agree with these changes to the share of costs.
They stated in a letter that their ability to provide social services will suffer from these proposed changes.
In their letter, they also state they will be exploring all their available options to help create a more appropriate conclusion to this process.
