Bisson Says Education Cuts Raise Alot of Questions for The Future of Northern Schools

The Wynne Liberals’ most recent cuts to education have raised questions in regards to what will happen next for Northern Ontario schools.

That is according to Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson, who says the funding formula is failing schools up north.

Bisson says these cuts put a lot of northern towns at a big disadvantage.

He also says that the funding formula needs to change to reflect the realities and differences of small town northern Ontario compared to large cities such as Toronto, or Sudbury.
