Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says the NDP have issued a misleading news release over rent protection.
NDP leader Andrea Horwath claims the Liberals and P-Cs blocked the New Democrats from trying to protect tenants.
However, Fedeli says what the NDP wanted was for MPPs to vote on their Bill right there and then.
But Fedeli says housing is very complicated and needs debate.

As an example, he points to the Wynne Liberals and their effort to introduce rent control.
But Fedeli says the NDP aren’t telling the public the whole story.
Fedeli believes the NDP wanted the snap vote just so that they could issue a release that says the Liberals and Tories oppose rent measures.
