Kapuskasing is seeking a public health representative for their new evacuation committee.
According to CAO of Kapuskasing Guylain Baril, they are looking to fill the vacancy with a volunteer from the towns’ public health services.
Baril says they are inviting members of the community to participate in the new committee to improve the process of decision making.
He also says having volunteers from the town will increase the transparency of the committee’s work to the public.
