The MPP for Nipissing is surprised that a labour leader with hospital unions is critical of the NDP and Tories over hospital problems.
Last week, hospital union spokesman Michael Hurley criticized the opposition for blaming hospital problems on high hydro rates.
However, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says expensive electricity is only one issue for hospitals and acknowledges there are others.
The comment surprised Fedeli because he says the Tories have been fighting the same battle with Hurley against the Liberals.
Fedeli says the Tories are trying to get hospitals more money after Liberal mismanagement and scandals resulted in under-funding.
