The local United Way chapter is now part of a regional group.
The Cochrane-Timiskaming United Way chapter will become part of the Sudbury and Nipissing Districts starting April 1st.
Executive Director Michael Cullen says this will ensure more support and resources for the area.
Cullen says having the groups merge into one will bring added knowledge and resources to the region.
Cullen says having the support of a bigger group will ensure a bigger community presence in the area.
