James Bay OPP is investigating a snowmobile crash that took the life of a man.
Police were called to the crash on Wednesday afternoon.
The OPP were called to a collision of Highway 579 which involved a snowmobile and a logging truck.
Police say a group of snowmobilers were headed northbound on the stretch of logging road when they encountered a truck headed southbound at a curve along the roadway.
Officers say 34 year old Doug Walker from Wyoming was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he was then pronounced dead.
Police continue to investigate.
