Algoma Manitoulin MPP Mike Mantha says the Wynne Liberals have done virtually nothing to ignite the Ring of Fire.
During Question Period, Mantha said First Nations and industry have been waiting years to see the chromite discovery developed.
Mantha says the government claims it’s committed to the chromite project but he says it’s always all talk with no action.
He then deflected the criticism by referring to other mining projects.
However Municipal Affairs Minister Bill Mauro claimed First Nations can explain what the Liberals have done, but he didn’t provide details.
