Kapuskasing Town Council is just over a week away from deciding upon whether or not to approve the newly created Evacuation Committee according to Town of Kapuskasing CAO Guylain Baril.
Baril says there may be a few members missing from the committee for the first few meetings.
However, he says if they are approved even without a full committee of members, the positive is that they can at least begin to work on some issues such as the evacuation business model, as well as program growth and improvements.
Baril says the major focus of the committee will be to involve more members of the community within these discussions.
Town Council is set to meet and decide upon the approval of the committee on Monday, March 20th.
