The town of Kapuskasing special council and finance committee have yet to finalise their financial budget and Mayor Alan Spacek says it is because they haven’t settled on a range for tax increases.
Spacek says due to this he can’t speculate on what the budget will mean for the average household in Kapuskasing.
The Mayor did point out that the Cochrane District Social Services Administration Board (CDSSAB) cost model is farther ahead in completion.
He also says that it will likely be April when council has finalised the budget.
