March is Nutrition Month

It’s time to start thinking about food. March has been proclaimed as Nutrition Month.

Dietitian with the Porcupine Health Unit Caitlin Minard says this month is dedicated to making healthy eating easy and fun.

Minard says this is a three step process of identifying the problem, finding information on the problem, and putting a plan in action to fight it. She adds that the Health Unit will be hosting a presentation on March 20th about fighting with food.
