Northern College is teaming up with Algoma University and Durham College to build a new online Bachelor of Computer Science bridging program. The program development is the first of its kind in Ontario.

It’ll allow students to move from Computer Engineering Technician diploma programs at Ontario Colleges to a Bachelor of Computer Science degree program. As it stands now there is no fully online way of doing that.

More than $300,000 in funding for the project came from eCampusOntario. The first batch of students is expected in the fall of 2018.
