The Local Health Integration Networks could go the way of the dodo bird.
That’s if Tory leader Patrick Brown has his way and wins the 2018 provincial election. Brown says health care in Ontario has a bloated administrative division which means less money for front line services.
Brown says he has yet to find a single doctor or nurse that supports having the LHINs. Ontario has 14 LHINs, including one that oversees Northeastern Ontario.
