Public Works will be dropping off the last of the new garbage and recycling bins to residents in Kapuskasing, which is expected to be completed by next week. It’s part of the municipality bringing in a new waste program, focusing on recycling.
Kapuskasing’s Municipal Clerk Chantal Guillemette says the deliveries are on schedule. She says the town will be focusing on education, allowing three or four months for residents to adjust to the new recycling programs.
