Northern is adding its voice to the call for an urgent meeting between Ontario’s 24 colleges and Premier Kathleen Wynne.
They want to discuss a funding issue that could see a $1.9 billion shortfall for the schools by 2024-2025. That figure comes from a new report from PwC Canada.
Funding for colleges has decreased each year since 2007. Representatives from the schools will be meeting with Advanced Education and Skills Development Minister Deb Matthews in February.
