Traffic stop leads to plenty of drug trafficking offenses

A 43-year-old Hearst man faces at least four trafficking charges after Hearst OPP stopped his vehicle near the town in a traffic stop.  The charges are in connection with having meth, hydro-morphine and some marihuana in the vehicle.  The man is also looking at two counts of possessing oxycodone.  The drugs have a street value of $14,700.   In addition, the stop also netted police close to $3,300 cash, drug paraphernalia plus they seized the vehicle.   The man was also charged with possession of proceeds obtained by crime under $5,000 and driving with a coated windshield so that no one could see inside the vehicle.
