The Timmins campus of Northern College is in the spotlight today. A team of scientists from the University of Toronto are at the college to study water that may be two-billion years old. The water was discovered at the Glencore Kidd operations. The researchers will be examining water samples collected and stored by staff at Northern. During their visit, the Toronto scientists will talk about how long their research will take and what kind of impact the discovery of old water has.
