Online ad on ice hut rentals called racist by Ontario Regional Chief

Ontario’s Regional Chief is shocked that a business promoting ice hut rentals for Lake Nipissing in North Bay would bar First Nation people.  The original ad said Aboriginal people looking for an ice hut would not get the time of day and would lose their deposit.  The CEO of Ice Hut Rentals, Marc David Hyndman, apologized for the poorly worded advertisement and said anyone can rent an ice hut.  Hyndman says anyone can fish using one of his huts as long as fishing regulations are followed.  Regional Chief Isadore Day says the earlier ad, which was on kijiji, was racist and the kind of comment that can incite violence.
