500 Jackets Collected for First Nations Students in the North

First Nations students in Northern Ontario will have a warmer walk to school thanks to the work of a Southern Ontario man.

After hearing that students were walking to school without jackets, CBC reports that John Currie from Pickering Ontario decided to collect coats and shoes for those in need.

Over 500 winter coats have already been sent up to the community and with help from The Shoe Project, hundreds of shoes will be collected and sent up to the Kasabonika First Nation.
