Public school boards in Northern Ontario have had a chance to talk to the education minister about the low graduation rates in the north. The meeting with Mitzie Hunter took place in Toronto. Among those present were Linda Knight who is the education director of the District School Board Ontario North East. Knight says Hunter took a lot of notes and she’s hopeful the government can come up with ways to help turn the grad numbers around.
