The District School Board Ontario North East is creating an advisory council on indigenous education. The council’s goal is to meet the needs of First Nations, Metis and Inuit students across the board. Parents and guardians as well as elders and community members would form the advisory council. The board may also include agencies that support students with their work and meet three times a year. To join the council send an email to Elizabeth Innes to [email protected]
