The deadline to register for the Miss Carnival 2017 pageant coming up.
The pageant will offer many different workshops that look to boost confidence for girls aged 10 to 14 across the region. Organizer Andreane Blais says some of the workshops will focus on building self-esteem, others on public speaking, along with posture, hair and make up sessions.
They need a minimum of 10 people to participate, but Blais says they’re hoping for 20.
The cost to participate is $75, but all the money that’s raised will go back into the workshops and towards local organizations. The money will be used to cover lunch, supper, the buying of the sashes, the crown and the official t-shirt of the Miss Carnival pageant.
The pageant would be taking place in Mattice February 18th and 19th and the deadline to register is December 18th. You can register by getting emailing [email protected]
