The OPP in Hearst has charged a 37-year-old man with careless storage of a firearm.

Local police were made aware of this last week and after executing a search warrant found one firearm, several rounds of ammunition and a small quantity of gun powder.

The man is scheduled to appear in court in Hearst December 21st.
