The OPP’s annual Festive RIDE campaign is in full swing. To help reduce impaired driving police are conducting roadside stops in many communities across the Northeast. The OPP is reminding drivers to be careful while approaching a RIDE location, especially when the conditions aren’t the best.
Police are looking to crack down on all forms of impaired driving whether it’s impaired by alcohol or drugs. The Festive RIDE campaign is on now until the start of January and police say if you suspect an impaired driver to call 911 or contact your local police department.
