Highway 11 construction is slightly behind schedule with paving and grading work.

Ministry of Transportation Ontario Environmental Planner Andrew Healy says the current construction on Highway 11 will see it’s paving and grading work completed a month later than expected.

Healy says the paving and grading being done on the highway from Hyundai Road heading eastbound should be complete by the end of July, rather than the previously predicted end of June.

He says due to the abnormal amount of wet weather that has hit the area over the spring and early summer, the paving process has been slowed down.

Healy says this current portion of the project is still on schedule to be completed by the end of September, crews will then break before resuming in May of 2018.
