The Northern Ontario Hockey Association chose a familiar face to represent Kapuskasing and area.
Samantha Gaulin has been named to the position of NOHA District 9 representative at their Annual General Meeting in North Bay.
Gaulin had previously been the second vice-president of the Kapuskasing Minor Hockey Association.
The former member of the KMHA board now begins her first year representing Kapuskasing, Hearst, Hornepayne, Mattice and Smooth Rock Falls at the NOHA level.
