Kapuskasing will be given updates today on the status of their capital projects.
Public Works Manager Eric Cote says the meeting is to discuss the current state of their projects such as the new recycling program.
However, Cote says the main project being reviewed during the meeting is the reconstruction of Ottawa Street and Nipigon Avenue.
He says the reconstruction has been going on since last year and will be completed this summer.

Cote also says they will also be re-paving sidewalks and curbs around town.
He says there will be no new projects beginning this year, as council has put those on hold for the time being due to a lack of finances.
